CAT 2010 - Step by Step

  1. Read the CAT 2010 Notification published in this web site carefully.
  2. Read Key Information given in the website
  3. Verify your eligibility for various courses offered by University
  4. Calculate the Application Fee payable
  5. Take a Demand Draft for the above amount favoring “Registrar, CUSAT” payable at Ernakulam.

      (DD to be taken only from State Bank of India or its associated banks).

  1. Candidates applying as “Keralites” (except for B.Tech Lateral Entry/MPhil/PhD/certificate programmes) should apply with the OMR applications available with the selected branches of State Bank of Travancore.   “Non – Keralites”, International students and those applying for the B.Tech Lateral Entry programme should apply on-line.  For MPhil/PhD/certificate programmes application can be had from the concerned departments.
  2. Please Ensure the following during Online Registration:
    1. Have the Demand Draft details with you
    2. Fill up all the entries in the application regarding Reservation/Special Reservation wherever applicable.
    3. Choose your Programme, Test Subject & Test Centre carefully. Request for changes will not be entertained later.

  4. After Registration, a Confirmation Page will be displayed which contains your Registration Number and important details of your application. Take print out of the Confirmation Page (two copies).
  5. Write your Name and Registration Number on the reverse side of the Demand Draft before sending it to the University.
  6. Affix recent passport size photograph, signatures and thumb impression in the places provided in the Confirmation Page and send it along with the Demand Draft to the University so as to reach before 08-04-2010. The cover containing the application should be super scribed “Applications for CAT 2010”
  7. A copy of the Confirmation Page has to be retained by the candidate for future references. For all communications with the University, the Registration Number should be quoted.
  8. Once your Confirmation Page duly filled and signed, along with the application fee is received at the University, if all details are in order, your application will be processed. You may verify the status of your application in the website by providing your Registration Number and Date of Birth. Status will be displayed on this web site in due course.
  9. The candidates have to download their Admit Card for CAT 2010 from this website. Admit Card will not be sent by post. Admit Card will be available for download after 05-05-2010.
  10. The results of the CAT 2010 will be published in the website after 22-06-2010.
  11. Admission Counseling will be conducted at the University for Eligible candidates. Candidates have to download their Call Letter from this website. Call Letter will not be sent by post.
  12. Candidates should bring copies of Confirmation Page, Admit Card and Counseling Call Letter at the time of Counseling failing which the candidate will not be permitted to attend the counseling.
  13. The dates announced above for Admit Card Downloading, Results publication, etc. are tentative. Candidates are requested to visit this website to get the latest updates.
